Hot air balloon crashes in Egypt, killing 19 people

A hot air balloon carrying tourists has crashed in Egypt.

Officials say 19 people have died, including three British people, after the balloon they were in crashed into fields near the Egyptian city of Luxor.

Reports suggest the pilot and two other British passengers survived; but others from France, Hong Kong and Japan are thought to have died.

Luxor lies on the banks of the River Nile and is home to some of Egypt's most famous ruins.
